City Tour

Belmont
Belmont is situated half-way between San Francisco and San Jose. Known for its wooded hills, views of the San Francisco Bay and stretches of open space, Belmont is a quiet residential community in the midst of the culturally and technologically rich Bay Area.

Brisbane
Brisbane is also known as the city of stars.  During the holidays, many homeowners display lighted stars on their rooftops.   To view this colorful site, drive north or south on Highway 280 between Brisbane and San Francisco.

Burlingame
Burlingame has the best outdoor shopping around.  It has perfect weather to walk down the street stopping in to look at the unique, trendy, upscale shops. Enjoy Sunday people watching, taking a stroll and having coffee at an outdoor restaurant.  You'll love it!

Daly City
Recently remodeled, Westlake Shopping Center has Home Depot, Cost Plus, Trader Joe's, Nation's Burgers! and a lot more.  Boulevard's Diner is down the street - it's a great place to eat before you hit the Century 20 Theater.

Foster City
Foster City is a planned community allowing the builders to determine the proper number and location of homes, restaurants, shops and city services.

Residents are super involved in their community with cultural arts, sports leagues, adult classes, senior programs, and much more!  You should really check out their website for details.

Half Moon Bay
Half Moon Bay has designed itself as the perfect tourist stop; restaurants, antique shops, specialty clothing, bakeries, inns, furniture stores.

For the wine lover, Cetrella Bistro Cafe on Main Street has been labled one of the top 100 restaurants 2004-2007 as voted by the San Francisco Chronicle

Don't miss the Pumpkin Festival in October - but get there early!

Pacifica
If you love the outdoors, you'll love Pacifica.  There are so many hiking and biking trails, you could take a different trail every weekend.  And the beach!  Surfing.  Boogie boarding. Kite flying. Dog walking.  There's the skatepark.  Horseback riding. Fishing from the pier. Rollerblading. Bike riding.  I'm sure I'm leaving something out...
Pedro Point
Sharp Park

Pescadero
Pescadero is a tiny town south of Half Moon Bay.  Duarte's is at the only lighted intersection.  There's a few little shops to wander into.  Harley Farms is right around the corner - be sure to stop by to see the goats!

Redwood City  Not only is Redwood City the government center of San Mateo County, it has just about completed one of the biggest makeovers ever!  The downtown has had an amazing face lift!

On Broadway consists of a 20-screen cinema, retail shops, and an underground parking garage in the heart of downtown.

Theatre Way features attractive paving and a European feel. It can be closed to traffic and used for dining or community events during weekends or special occasions.

Courthouse Square provides a comfortable place for people to gather, meet, and be part of a real community.

San Carlos
Heather Dog Park

San Mateo
Love Mexican food?  Sushi?  Italian?  Pizza? Hawaiian? Chinese? French?  Indian? You get the idea.  The epicure in San Mateo is heavenly.

South San Francisco
South San Francisco. The Industrial City is the birthplace of biotech; one of the reasons the San Mateo County real estate market has continued to grow in spite of the downturn in the rest of the nation.

Good Eats

Find the best food here in San Mateo County.

Pancho Villa
Best quick Mexican Don't go at noon! The line is out the door! Get there early.

BJ's Brewery
One of my favorite places for Chinese Chicken Salad - and sometimes a big, fat cheesburger.

Luceti's Italian
Luceti's is an old-time family restaurant. I really enjoy going there, everyone knows each other and they make you feel like they know you just as well.

3-Zero Cafe
Yum Yum - great breakfasts and lunches at the Half Moon Bay Airport.

Nona's Kitchen
Nona's is one of the best restaurants in Pacifica. Giant plates of food - don't forget dessert!

Hong Kong Flower Lounge
My friends and I look forward to our once a month Sunday get-together to scarf yummy dim sum.

Mitsu
Mitsu has got to be the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to.
